TRIAGE: Our GP’s take it in turn to triage emergency requests for same day appointments each morning.

CHRONIC DISEASE MANAGEMENT: Our GP's along with our Specialist Nurses will hold weekly clinics, please make an appointment with our reception team.

WELL WOMAN CLINIC: All ladies should have a smear test at least every five years, here at Killowen Medical Centre we offer 3 yearly smear tests alongside M.O.T. and Family Planning Services. Patients are invited to make an appointment with any of our Doctors for this service.

RESPIRATORY/COPD CLINIC: We have Nurse Specialists who run regular Respiratory Clinics, please contact our reception team to make an appointment.

NEW PATIENTS: New patients are asked to attend the Treatment Room when they will have an opportunity to have their weight, height, smoking status and lifestyle recorded and given appropriate advice and guidance.

TREATMENT ROOM: A Treatment Room Nurses' role is to undertake injections, dressing ECG's, ear syringing and any investigations e.g. blood pressure monitoring as requested in advance by the Doctors. The Nurses can also deal with blood tests and urine tests and give advice on travel vaccinations and other health matters. The Treatment Room also deal discretely with pregnancy tests.
